Heavens song
came to earth
on Christ’s birth-day;
one clear note
in a babys cry
for all eternity.
A wiseman sees,
a shepherd hears,
a fisherman follows;
a sin-full world
turns a deaf ear.
But a listening heart
two thousand years away
becomes aware and joins
with one clear note
the Hallelujah chorus.
